Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. Luke 18:16-17

Anyone who spends time among little children knows how much they love to learn. Whether their interest is caught by dinosaurs, horses, or space, once it's sparked, they cannot seem to learn enough about their favorite subjects. It is our great privilege as Christians of all ages to receive God's Word with this childlike enthusiasm. Though our own love of learning more about Christ may run cold at times, He still graciously calls us to receive Him like children and richly provides His words and teachings to us.

Christ commisioned His Church to make disciples by baptizing and by teaching them everything that He Himself commanded (Matt. 28:19-20).  St. Paul's Lutheran Church provides numerous opportunities for Christians of all ages to deepen their understanding of Christ, His teachings, and the faith into which we have been baptized.

Midweek Classes: Starting with the school year, a variety of classes for age 3 through 6th grades are offered every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Sunday School and HS Bible Study: During the school year, 3-year-old through 12th grade classes are also offered every Sunday morning between services.

Adult Bible Class: Many of our members gather downstairs in the fellowship hall between services on Sundays (after Sunday service during the summer) to hear Pastor Noble and others teach a variety of topics in this long-running study. It is a fantastic opportunity for both fellowship and learning.

Fireside Bible Study: Both adults and our high school youth are invited to this class that also takes place between Sunday services. This smaller group meets in the Fireside Room and takes an in-depth look at topics such as rationally defending the Christian faith, recognizing ancient false teachings that are still popular today, and studying some classics of Christian literature. For the 2023-24 academic year, this class is on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. Focus will be on the books 1 John and Ephesians.

Vacation Bible School: Summer VBS takes place annually. This event is FREE and a great opportunity for the families of St. Paul's and the surrounding community to learn about their Savior.

CREW: This high school youth group meets every Wednesday at 6:30-8:00 p.m. during the school year for games, devotions, book studies, and service events.

CYCLE: This middle school youth group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. during the school year. Youth have devotions, games, servant activities, and perform skits during Sunday worship 3 or 4 times a year.

Please contact the church with any questions about these learning opportunities. May the Lord Jesus Christ grant all of us a child's heart to eagerly & joyfully receive everything that He has to teach us.
