Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. Luke 18:16-17
Anyone who spends time among little children knows how much they love to learn. Whether their interest is caught by dinosaurs, horses, or space, once it's sparked, they cannot seem to learn enough about their favorite subjects. It is our great privilege as Christians of all ages to receive God's Word with this childlike enthusiasm. Though our own love of learning more about Christ may run cold at times, He still graciously calls us to receive Him like children and richly provides His words and teachings to us.
Christ commisioned His Church to make disciples by baptizing and by teaching them everything that He Himself commanded (Matt. 28:19-20). St. Paul's Lutheran Church provides numerous opportunities for Christians of all ages to deepen their understanding of Christ, His teachings, and the faith into which we have been baptized.
Sunday School and HS Bible Study: During the school year, 3-year-old through 12th grade classes are offered every Sunday morning between services.
Adult Bible Class: Many of our members gather downstairs in the fellowship hall between services on Sundays to learn about a variety of topics in this long-running study. It is a fantastic opportunity for both fellowship and learning.
Vacation Bible School: Summer VBS takes place annually. This event is FREE and a great opportunity for the families of St. Paul's and the surrounding community to learn about their Savior.
CREW: This high school youth group meets every Wednesday at 6:30-8:00 p.m. during the school year for games, devotions, book studies, and service events.
Please contact the church with any questions about these learning opportunities. May the Lord Jesus Christ grant all of us a child's heart to eagerly & joyfully receive everything that He has to teach us.
